Club Lac • Memphrémagog
Club Lac is a large private club on Lac Memphrémagog, adjoining the Owl’s Head resort in the Eastern Townships. Using a membership model, it offers far more than just access to the water and basic services.
Club Lac is a prestigious recreation and sports complex serving the Owl’s Head resort community by giving special access to a lifestyle usually reserved for the owners of luxury lakefront properties.
The club can be reached from the trails, on foot or bicycle, making it a point of interest that blends into its surroundings.
The challenge
Club Lac’s overall design concept had to maintain the organizational logic of the site’s facilities and use while having an organic structure in keeping with the natural atmosphere of the entire Owl’s Head’s resort.
A project of this complexity required greater effort to preserve the site's natural character, to respect the municipal by-laws and environmental regulations and to ensure that every step was carried out in accordance with best practices, in collaboration with all stakeholders.
The result is an vibrant, peaceful, private site that is in perfect harmony with its environment and is greatly appreciated. It not only gives users immense added value, it also greatly enhances the area's overall real estate offer.

- Marina with 85 boat slips (to be expanded)

PHASE 2 (in development)
- Expanding the marina, for a total of 99 boat slips
- Building a new pavilion at the entrance to the site, which will become the official entrance and will accentuate the club’s private feel
- Installing facilities similar to those built in phase 1
- Developing the cliff at the back of the site
- Establishing a second private beach with a large swimming area made possible by a large circular floating platform
- Installing a park area
- Providing access to Club Tennis: tennis and pickleball courts with a service building and covered relaxation area along the nearby golf course
