Nestled amidst lakes and mountains only steps from Mont-Orford in the Eastern Townships, Estrimont Suites & Spa is an exceptional hotel complex offering no less than 95 suites, each with a fireplace, a kitchenette and a spacious balcony.
For guests who want a little pampering, its Amerispa has everything one could want for an unforgettable sensory experience: outdoor area with fireplace, three-season outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, Nordic shower and a yurt to relax in.
A fitness room, volleyball and tennis courts, reception rooms with abundant windows, as well as an excellent steakhouse with terrace, bistro and lounge complete the resort’s offer, made even more attractive thanks to RevMax.
The challenge
This well-known and reputable establishment was struggling due to mounting competition. An optimization approach was needed to help it reach its full potential.
To quickly increase its profitability, we focused on strategically updating the offer and improving the marketing. We oversaw the implementation of our recommendations until the objectives were reached.
Our mission

RevMax came up with a major, one-of-a-kind event on the Estrimont site to promote all the Eastern Townships had to offer in terms of fine dining, culture and tourism.
The no less than four days of activities generated significant traffic on the site:
More than 450 five-course gourmet meals ($250 per place setting) featuring local ingredients were served on a table lifted 200 feet in the air by a crane, for a breathtaking view of the Estrimont site and the horizon line as the guests dined.
A local market gave the area’s producers (vineyards, duck farms, etc.) a chance to showcase their products and for visitors to discover these.
Local artists, musicians, singers and painters were invited to perform to the delight of the attendees.
RevMax was able to get major sponsors, such as Mercedez-Benz de Sherbrooke, to give the event greater exposure and attract the attention of several media outlets.

The results
In just 12 months, the pre-tax earnings and depreciation increased significantly.
The targeted performance indicators improved considerably:
+8.02% in sales
-1.00% in cost of goods sold
-14.70% in selling expenses
+ $5.17 in RevPAR (revenue per available room)
All departments increased their contribution:
